Effective date: January 1, 2026. These terms govern your use of the website operated by Custom Venice Fence & Deck at venicefenceanddeck.com and your engagement with our services.
By accessing or using our website, or by requesting a quote or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Custom Venice Fence & Deck provides residential deck building, fence installation, and related outdoor construction services in Venice, FL and surrounding communities. Our services include, but are not limited to, custom deck design and build, composite deck installation, fence installation, pergola construction, screened enclosures, and related repair and maintenance services.
All services are subject to a signed written contract or proposal between Custom Venice Fence & Deck and the customer. These terms do not constitute a service agreement and do not guarantee availability or pricing.
Estimates provided by Custom Venice Fence & Deck - whether given by phone, email, online form, or in person - are non-binding until confirmed in a signed written agreement. Estimates are based on the information available at the time and are subject to change if site conditions, material costs, or project scope differ from what was originally discussed.
We provide free on-site estimates. Receiving an estimate does not obligate you to hire us, and we do not charge for initial consultations or site visits.
Project scheduling is confirmed in writing once a contract is signed and any required deposit is received. We will communicate expected start dates and timelines as clearly as possible. Delays may occur due to permitting, material availability, weather, or other factors outside our control.
Cancellation terms, including any deposit forfeiture, will be specified in your written project agreement. Cancellations after materials have been ordered may result in restocking fees or other costs, which will be outlined in your contract.
Payment terms are established in the written project agreement. Typically, a deposit is required before work begins, with the remaining balance due upon project completion. Accepted payment methods will be specified in your contract.
Overdue balances may be subject to late fees as specified in your agreement. Custom Venice Fence & Deck reserves the right to pause work on projects with outstanding balances until payment is received.
Where required by local code, Custom Venice Fence & Deck will apply for necessary permits on behalf of the customer before work begins. Permit fees are typically included in the project estimate and will be clearly identified. The customer is responsible for providing accurate property information required for permit applications. Work will not begin until required permits are approved. Final inspections will be scheduled and completed as required by the applicable jurisdiction.
Custom Venice Fence & Deck stands behind the quality of its work. Specific warranty terms - including duration and coverage - will be outlined in your written project agreement. Manufacturer warranties on materials are passed through to the customer where applicable.
Warranty coverage does not extend to damage caused by misuse, neglect, acts of nature, or modifications made by parties other than Custom Venice Fence & Deck after project completion.
Custom Venice Fence & Deck's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid by the customer for the specific work at issue. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages of any kind.
